The Masport Matakana 1200 is an outdoor fire and cooking centre built for serious alfresco living, bringing the warmth of an open wood fire together with practical cooking features. Designed and developed in New Zealand, it’s made to be the centrepiece of an outdoor area where cooking, hosting, and heating all happen in the same place.
Alongside the open firebox, the Matakana 1200 supports cooking on a cast iron hot plate and grill, with a substantial pizza oven built into the unit. It’s designed for outdoor use only, and can be installed into a custom masonry base and chimney, or into a timber framed enclosure using a Zero Clearance kit for the specified installation method.
